First Look for Charity is one of Chicago’s largest single-day events, regularly generating nearly $3 million for area non-profits. In a city teeming with black-tie fundraisers, First Look for Charity is a tuxedo-mandatory annual event that appears on the calendars of both socialites and car buffs.

By supporting Franciscan Community Benefit Services, through either a corporate partnership or individual ticket purchase, you are directly supporting the following ministries:

St. Jude House, a 40-bed domestic violence shelter located in Crown Point, Indiana. Offering a safe haven for victims and their dependent children fleeing domestic abuse by providing meals, basic needs, crisis intervention, legal advocacy, support groups and specialized services for children. The Madonna Foundation serves at-risk and underserved young women in the Chicago area through scholarships to attend all-female Catholic secondary schools as well as robust academic, leadership and college readiness programming. The only one of its kind in the region, the Foundation has awarded over $3 million in funds, representing nearly 1,400 scholarships since it was first established in 2001. Our scholar graduation rate is 99.7% and 99% of graduates go on to pursue higher education. Additional information can be found at www.madonnascholars.org.

The Gift of Care Program provides financial assistance for residents in our senior living communities who find themselves in a difficult financial situation and need help offsetting the cost of their care. Our residents choose us not only for the quality of services we offer, but for the strong sense of family our communities embody. The Gift of Care program ensures our residents maintain the kind of life and sense of family in which they are able to thrive.

Your donation and ticket purchase directly impact these ministries and helps to ensure a high quality of life for seniors, provide scholarships to underserved teen girls, and help victims of domestic violence break the cycle of abuse. We rely on you, our generous friends and supporters, to help us make this event a success so that we may meet the needs of those we serve. Together, we can transform lives.
