The Franciscan Sisters of Chicago are celebrating their 21st General Chapter in June, 2018. The General Chapter is a time of reflection and prayer for the Sisters as they review their life and practices over the past five years and plan for the next five years as well as choose their leadership for the 2018-2023 term. Here is a video photo gallery of the Franciscan Sisters of Chicago through the years, beginning with their foundress, Mother Mary Theresa Dudzik and progressing through the years with the Sisters in various ministries such as education, nursing, and elder care.

Sister M. Dorothea Micek reflects on
Mother Mary Theresa and the day in 1972 when her body was exhumed from St. Aldabert Cemetary and re-interred in the Sarcophagas in Our Lady of Victory Convent in Lemont, Illinois.
